Magargi Welfare Foundation is situated in Lucknow, over in the Alambagh area. Our specific address is 568/226, Kailashpuri. We have been in this part of Uttar Pradesh for a while now. Lucknow is a big, bustling city, but Kailashpuri feels a bit more like a neighborhood where people know each other. Our office is just a regular building on a regular street. We don't have a team of corporate experts. It’s just us doing welfare work in a way that makes sense for the local area. The office is often a bit cluttered with papers and books, but we know where everything is. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just come in every morning, have some tea, and start working on our tasks. It is a very human way of running a foundation. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello or ask a question. We don't have any polished mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and some notes. Alambagh is a busy place, especially near the market, but we are tucked away a bit. It’s a good spot for us. We don't feel the need to be fancy or sound important. We are just a local welfare group trying to do our bit.
