M-tec Computer Institute

Up on the first floor of Chauhan Plaza on Hardoi Road, you’ll find M-tec Computer Institute. It’s right there in the middle of the bustle of Thakurganj. We have a few rooms set up with rows of computers where students spend their afternoons. I remember when we first got the keys to this place; it was just an empty shell. Now, it’s always full of the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking through their lessons. It’s not some high-end corporate training center. We’re just a local place where kids and adults from around Tahseenganj come to learn how to use a PC properly. The signage outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people seem to find us just fine. I spend a lot of my time fixing little things, like a mouse that stopped working or a chair that’s getting a bit wobbly. It’s part of the job. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and someone will point you to the right room. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit crowded when one class is leaving and another is starting, but it’s a good kind of busy. We just want to give people a chance to pick up some useful skills without it being too intimidating. It’s worked out well for us so far, and we’re happy to be here.
