M General Store

Our shop, M General Store, is located in the Hussainganj area of Lucknow. Most people find us because we are very close to the Mera Mann Hotel. It is a good landmark for anyone looking for the place. Being near a hotel means we see a lot of different people, not just the locals who live in the back streets. We sell simple things like bottled water, biscuits, soap, and other small items you might need if you are traveling or just living nearby. The area around Hussainganj is always moving, so there is a lot of noise from the cars and rickshaws outside. We open up early in the morning because that is when people want their bread and eggs. It is not a big store, just a small room filled with boxes and jars. Sometimes it is hard to find where I put the smaller items like buttons or matchboxes, but I usually remember after a second. The floor is old stone and the walls could use some paint, but it works for what we need. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us taking turns behind the counter.
