Luvly Beauty Salon

Luvly Beauty Salon is tucked away in Sector-P of Aliganj. We are right near Shyam Swaad Mithai Mart, so you can usually smell something sweet cooking next door. The shop is a small space where we do hair and basic beauty stuff for the local women. We have two chairs for haircuts and a small partitioned area in the back. It’s not a big corporate salon, just a local place where neighbors come to talk and get their eyebrows done. The walls are painted a soft pink, but there are some marks here and there from moving the equipment around. We have a big mirror with some lights around it, though one bulb usually flickers. We use simple products that people know and trust. Lucknow summers are tough, so we have a cooler that makes a lot of noise but keeps the place decent. It’s mostly busy in the evenings when ladies finish their housework. We don't have a receptionist, so we just answer the phone while we work. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it shining. It’s a cozy little spot in Aliganj. We've been here for a while and know most of the people on this block by name. It’s just a practical shop for the community. We don't make a big deal out of things, just do the work as best as we can every day. Sometimes the water pressure is low, but we manage.
