Luvly Beauty Parlour

Luvly Beauty Parlour is over in Section Q of Aliganj. We are located right near the Union Bank, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. This part of Lucknow is a bit more residential, so we get a lot of people who live right nearby. Our shop isn't very large, but we've squeezed in everything we need to do our work. We have a couple of stations for hair and a small partitioned area for other things. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when we have a few customers all talking at once. We do the standard things like eyebrow threading, facials, and haircuts. Most of the women who come here are our neighbors, so the atmosphere is pretty casual. We don't go for any of that corporate style service. We just talk like normal people and do the work that’s requested. I usually arrive early to make sure everything is tidy before the first person shows up. The sun hits the front window in the afternoon, so it gets quite bright inside. We have some curtains to help with that. It’s a simple business and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just hope that if someone likes what we did, they tell their friend. That’s how it works here in Aliganj. We have a small cupboard where we keep all the thread and the creams. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. The door squeaks a little, but it's okay.
