Lucky Herbal Beauty Parlour

Lucky Herbal Beauty Parlour is on Tulsidas Marg in Lucknow. It is a busy street and we are right in the thick of it. The shop is mostly for the women living in the nearby colonies who want things done without spending too much. We use a lot of herbal stuff because that is what people ask for around here. The smell of rose water and sandalwood is usually floating around the room. We have a few old posters on the wall showing different hairstyles from a few years back. The chairs are wrapped in plastic to keep them clean. It is mostly just two or three of us working here. Sometimes it gets crowded and we have to tell people to come back in an hour or so. We don't have a big sign, just the one on Tulsidas Marg that everyone knows. Lucknow summers are tough, so we keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. We talk about the kids and the household stuff while doing threading or facials. It feels more like a neighbor's house than a big shop. We don't use any of those expensive machines, just our hands and some basic tools. It has been this way for a long time. People come here because they trust us and we have been in the same spot for years. We just keep doing our work every day and helping the local ladies look their best without any fuss.
