Lovis Makeup Ganj

Our place is inside Habibullah Estate, which is on the Halwasiya House Road in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow. If you are standing across from the Indian Bank, you are looking at where we are. Hazratganj is always busy with a lot of noise and people moving around outside. We focus on makeup here. It is an old building with thick walls. Inside, we have set up some stations with lights for doing the work. It is not a huge studio, just a couple of rooms where we keep our kits and brushes. We spend a lot of time doing makeup for weddings or local parties. People bring in photos of what they want. Sometimes the colors look different in person than on a phone screen. We have been in Ganj for a while and have seen the shops around us change. We keep our supplies in drawers and on tables, though on a busy Saturday, things can get a bit cluttered with bags and coats everywhere. It is just a work space for us. We start early when there are events and stay until the work is done. The estate has a certain feel to it that you do not find in the newer shopping malls. We are just one of the many businesses operating out of this old house road.
