Lorencen Beauty Parlour

Lorencen Beauty Parlour is over in Nazarbagh, specifically at Shop No 12 on Dr. Suza Road. We are very close to the old Odean Cinema in Lucknow, which is a place most people around here know well. This part of Lucknow has a lot of history, and our shop has been part of the local scene for a bit. It’s a small shop, tucked away in a row of other businesses. We mostly do hair and basic makeup for local women. The space inside is quite narrow, so we have to be organized with how we move around. It’s not a luxury spa by any means. We have some old posters on the walls and the lighting is just okay, but it gets the job done. I usually keep a radio playing some old songs to keep things lively while I work. A lot of our customers come in before going to a movie or after they’ve been shopping in the market nearby. It’s a humble place, and we don't try to be anything we aren't. We use simple products that have been around for years because that’s what our customers like. Sometimes the power goes out in this area, but we just open the door for light and keep going. It’s just how things are in this part of town, and we don't mind it much. It makes for a real Lucknow experience.
