Lavina Beauty Parlour

Lavina Beauty Parlour is situated right near Chowk Chauraha in Lucknow. It’s a very old part of the city, so it’s always crowded and lively. Our parlour is just a regular place where women come to get their hair done or maybe some threading. We’ve been in the Chowk area for years, and we’ve seen the streets change a lot, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a local spot, nothing like those expensive salons in the malls. We use simple tools and products that people are used to. Most of our customers live right around the corner or in the nearby lanes. They stop by while they are out doing their daily shopping. We have a few mirrors and chairs set up. It’s a place where people chat while waiting their turn. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with everyone talking at once. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the work well. The floor is usually covered in hair clippings until we sweep up at the end of the day. We stay open through the heat and the rain. If you are near the chauraha, you can find us easily. It’s just an honest little business. We don't put up big posters or try to look like something we aren't. We just do the work and hope people are happy with it. It’s been our life for a long time and we like the people here.
