Lara Kashtha Kala Vikas Foundation

We are set up at Plot No 537 in Manas Enclave, which is in the Faridinagar part of Indra Nagar. Lucknow is a pretty big place, but our little corner in 226016 is where we feel at home. It’s a quiet enclave for the most part, which helps when we need to focus on our work. We started this foundation because we wanted to see some progress in the local arts and development side of things. It’s not a big fancy operation. We just have this one plot where we keep our stuff and meet up. Some of us have been friends for years, and we just decided to make it official with a name. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we need. We don’t spend much on decorations or expensive furniture. Most of our time is spent out in the community or talking to people who come by the gate. Manas Enclave is a nice spot and the neighbors are mostly friendly. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep things moving along. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice and discuss what to do next. It’s an honest way to run things. We aren't trying to be something we’re not. It’s just us, working out of a plot in Lucknow, trying to stay busy and be useful to those around us. That’s the long and short of it really.
