Landmark Design Associates

If you head over to Deva Palace in Viram Khand -1, we are on the first floor in office 325. Landmark Design Associates isn't some big firm with a hundred employees. It is just us. The office has big windows but they mostly look out at other buildings and the street below. We spend our time drawing and checking on things. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs if the elevator is acting up, which happens more often than we would like. We try to keep things simple here. There are a few desks, some old computers, and a bunch of rulers and pens lying around. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle in the corner for when we need a break. Most people who come to see us are people we have known for years. We talk about the weather or the local news before we even get to talking about design. It is a relaxed atmosphere. We don't wear suits or use a lot of big industry talk. We just explain things as they are. Sometimes we get stuck on a project and stay late into the evening, but that is just part of the job. It’s a steady way to live. We’ve been in this office for a good long time now and we know every creak in the floorboards.
