Kulsoom Handicrafts

We run Kulsoom Handicrafts out on Mohan Road, right near the Kakori Mod. If you know the area, we are in Khushalganj, which is quite close to the Agra Expressway. It’s a busy spot with cars and trucks passing by all the time. We have a workshop here where we spend our days making different handicraft items. Most of what we do involves sitting down and working with our hands. It’s a skill we’ve picked up over a long time. The shop isn't anything big or modern. It’s a simple brick building where we keep our tools and the things we've finished making. We don't have a big fancy website or a marketing team. We just put our items out and people who are driving by often stop to take a look. Being near the expressway helps because we get people from all over. We like being in Khushalganj because it’s where we are from. We use local materials when we can and just keep the traditions going. It's a lot of hard work and sometimes our hands get tired, but we enjoy seeing the finished product. If you're ever on your way to or from the Agra Expressway, you might see us. We are usually there from morning until the sun goes down, just working away at the next piece. It’s a simple life and a simple business that we care about.
