Khushhal Gram Samajvikas Foundation

Khushhal Gram Samajvikas Foundation is based over in Lucknow, specifically in Gomti Nagar. We are at 2/297 Vivek Khand-2. It’s a nice enough area and easy to find if you know where the main market is in Gomti Nagar. We spend a lot of our time thinking about how to improve things in the villages nearby, even though our main office is here in the city. It started out small with just a couple of desks and some chairs, and honestly, it hasn’t changed that much since then. We aren't doing any big advertising or anything fancy because most people find out about us through word of mouth. The office can get a bit crowded on Mondays when everyone comes in to report on what they saw in the rural areas during the weekend. Lucknow gets really hot in the summer, so we try to do most of our heavy work in the early morning hours before the sun gets too high. We mostly handle social development projects and try to help families get back on their feet when they are struggling. It’s practical stuff like helping with paperwork or explaining how different programs work. We are just regular people trying to make the village life a bit better from our spot here in Vivek Khand. Sometimes the chai wala comes by and we take a break, but mostly we are just focused on the tasks at hand. It's a lot of work but it's what we do.
