Karigrah Foundation

Our small office is tucked away at F-38 in the M.S.S. Colony over in Shastri Nagar. If you know the area, it’s fairly quiet back here, which helps us get things done. We started Karigrah Foundation because we saw a gap in how things were being handled locally. It’s not a big corporate setup. Mostly, it is just a handful of us sitting around a couple of desks, making phone calls and figuring out the next steps for our projects. Some mornings are quite slow, while others feel like we can't catch a break. We deal with a lot of different people, and every day brings a new problem to solve. We don't have a PR team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just write what we need to and hope it makes sense. Sometimes the internet goes down, or we run out of tea, but we manage. The goal was always to be a part of the Shastri Nagar community in a real way. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just trying to do our bit right here. People drop in without calling sometimes, and that’s fine. We like the interaction. It keeps us grounded and reminds us why we opened this place in the first place. It’s a bit cramped in the office, but it works for what we need. We've got some old chairs and a table that wobbles, but it's home for now.
