Kanishka Herbal Beauty Parlour

Kanishka Herbal Beauty Parlour is situated at 61/1, Sahu Bhawan, in the Hussainganj area of Lucknow. We are tucked away near the Ram Mandir Line, which is a very busy part of the city. People are always walking by, and the sound of bells from the temple is something we hear every single day. We focus a lot on using herbal products because that is what our customers seem to prefer. The smell of sandalwood and rose water is usually pretty strong inside the shop. It is not a very big space, so things can feel a bit tight when we have three or four people waiting at once. We have some wooden shelves where we keep all our bottles and jars, and they are mostly full. The building itself, Sahu Bhawan, is an older one, so the walls have that thick, solid feel to them. We don't have a lot of fancy lights, just enough to see the work clearly. Often, women from the nearby market drop in after they finish their shopping to get their eyebrows done or just to rest for a bit. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated procedures. We just do things the way we have learned over the years, using things that feel natural to us. It is a busy little shop, but we like the energy of Hussainganj and the people who come to visit us.
