Jum Jum Hair Gens Parlor

Jum Jum Hair Gens Parlor is tucked away in Shop No 79 at Prime Plaza in Indira Nagar. Most people around here call the area Munshi Pooliya and it is one of the busiest parts of Lucknow for sure. Our shop is just a regular place for men and boys to get their hair cut. We have been at this location for a bit and the name Jum Jum has kind of stuck with the locals. It is not a very big shop but we make the most of the space we have. There is always the sound of clippers and scissors going. We try to keep the place tidy but with hair flying everywhere it is a constant job. The chairs are lined up against the wall and there is a small bench for people to wait on while they look at their phones. We get all sorts of people, from little kids who are scared of the scissors to old men who have been getting the same cut for forty years. Indira Nagar 226016 is a big area so we get people from all the nearby blocks coming in. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if there is a long line of people waiting. It is just honest work and we don't try to be anything we are not. The plaza can get a bit hot in the afternoons but the fans keep us going. We just do our job and go home to our families once the sun goes down.
