Jimmy Menz Saloon

This is Jimmy Menz Saloon over in Aliganj. We are located at 6, Janpath Road in Lucknow. It is a pretty easy place to find because we are right near the New Fashion Boutique. If you know that area, you know it stays fairly busy with people shopping and going about their business. Our shop is not anything too fancy, just a regular place where men can come to get their hair cut and maybe a shave. We have got the usual barber chairs and a few magazines lying around that are probably a few months old. The walls have some posters on them, and we keep the radio playing in the background most of the time. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but we are used to it by now. It is a local spot, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. People stop in to chat even if they do not need a trim. We try to keep the place tidy, but hair gets everywhere when it is a busy afternoon. My hands are usually covered in some kind of hair tonic or water. We have been at this address for a good while and the neighbors are all friendly. It is just how a small business in Lucknow works. We start in the morning, sweep up at night, and do it all again tomorrow. It is honest work and we like being on Janpath Road.
