We’re based out of J 5 in the Aashiyana area of Lucknow, not too far from the Khjana Market. It’s a lively part of the city, and being near the market means there’s always people moving around. We handle events, which mostly means we spend our time lugging equipment around and making sure things aren't falling over. Our space in Aashiyana is mostly storage for all the gear we use. We don't have a team of people in suits. Most of us are usually in old t-shirts because event work is messy and involves a lot of sweat. We don't use words like innovative or premium because they don't really mean anything when you're trying to fix a broken light at 10 PM. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the Lucknow heat makes everything twice as hard, but we’re used to it by now. People in the neighborhood know us, and we get most of our jobs through word of mouth. We don't have a big marketing budget, and we don't really want one. We’d rather just focus on making sure the next party or meeting goes off without a hitch. It’s a lot of physical labor and quick thinking, but it’s our life here at J 5. We stay busy with the local crowd and try to keep things as simple as possible for everyone. We aren't here for show, just for the results.
