Jeev Aashraya Foundation

Jeev Aashraya Foundation is over in Lucknow too, but we are on the 3rd floor of the Solitaire building. It’s on Plot No CB Rafi Ahmad. Being on the third floor means we get a decent view of the street, but the elevator is sometimes a bit moody, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s a busy spot in the city. We have a small team here and we mostly just focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep everything running. We aren't some big corporate entity with a PR person. It’s just us. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the paperwork we have to deal with, but we usually know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who drop by for a chat. Lucknow is a place with a lot of history and we feel like we are just one small part of it. We don't try to sound more important than we are. We just have this space and we use it to work on the foundation's goals. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and talking about the traffic on Rafi Ahmad road. It’s a very normal office. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or fancy lobby furniture. Just some sturdy tables and enough light to see what we are doing. We’ve been here for a bit now and we like the location.
