Janvi Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is situated in the Shahid Archid Complex on Picnic Spot Road. This is in the Khurramnagar part of Lucknow. It’s a well-known road, so people find us easily enough. The complex can be a bit busy with other shops, but we are tucked in there. I’ve been running Janvi Beauty Parlour for a while now. We do all the regular things like bridal makeup, hair cuts, and facials. Since we are on the way to the Picnic Spot, we see a lot of people passing by. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough space for a couple of customers at a time. I like to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We don't have uniforms or strict rules. We just work. The light in the afternoon comes through the window and makes the place feel warm. Sometimes the traffic on Picnic Spot Road gets backed up and you can hear the horns, but we just turn up the music a little. It’s a neighborhood place. I know most of the ladies who come in by their first names. We talk about our families and what’s happening in Khurramnagar while I work on their hair. It’s a good community to be in. We just focus on doing a decent job so people come back when they need their next trim or threading.
