You can find us at No. 208/232 on Jagat Narain Road, right in Janta Nagri near Shiksha Bhawan Chowk. This is Lucknow Fashion Handlooms. We’ve got a shop full of fabrics and finished pieces that we’ve been selling for years. It’s not one of those modern boutiques where everything is behind glass. Here, you can touch the cloth and see the stitching for yourself. We have shelves piled high with different materials. Sometimes it looks a bit disorganized, but we know exactly where everything is. The area around Chowk is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of fabric being unrolled or the old fan on the ceiling. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing or models. We just put our items out and let people see them. If someone wants a specific type of handloom work, we show them what we have in stock. If we don’t have it, we’re honest about it. We’ve seen fashions come and go, but the basic stuff we sell always seems to stay in demand. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we take turns at the counter. We’ve got regulars who have been coming to us since they were young, and now they bring their own kids. It’s just a regular shop doing regular business every day.
