Israr Hair Saloon

Israr Hair Saloon is over in Lucknow, located on Faizabad Road in the Indira Nagar area. We are close to the Lekhraj Dollar building, which is a big landmark around here. The shop is on a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of cars and horns in the background. Inside, we have the usual setup with a few chairs and mirrors. We keep our tools on a shelf right in front of the chairs so they are easy to reach. The walls are a bit plain, maybe a bit faded from the sun coming through the front window. We have a small sink for washing up and a few cupboards where we store the clean towels and the shampoos we use. Most of the people who stop by are locals from Indira Nagar who just need a hair trim or a shave. It’s a simple routine every day, opening up in the morning and sweeping the front step. We have a small bench for people to sit on if there is a wait. Sometimes we have a tea stall nearby bring over some chai while we work. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it as clean as we can throughout the day. It isn't a very large shop, but it serves the purpose for the people around here. We just go about our work and talk to whoever walks through the door. Most days the weather is hot, so the fans are always on.
