Tripmakers

Tripmakers is over at No. 220/18 in Indira Nagar. We aren't on the main road, so it’s a bit more peaceful where we are. Our office is a small room that we’ve filled with desks and a lot of paper. Even though most things are online now, we still seem to have piles of forms and passport copies everywhere. There are three of us who work here. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to hotels or trying to find a better price for a flight. It can be a bit of a headache when a trip gets cancelled or someone changes their mind at the last minute. We have a couple of chairs for people who come in to talk about their travel plans. It’s usually just neighbors or people who heard about us from a friend. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door. Indira Nagar is a good neighborhood to be in. The lady next door sometimes brings us some snacks in the afternoon. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big brand name behind us. We just try to get the details right so people don't have problems when they’re away from home. Some days are slow and we just sit and organize our files, and other days we’re working late to finish a booking. It’s a small, honest business and it keeps us going day to day.
