G-solar Energy

The office for G-solar Energy is tucked away in Sector 15/201, Indira Nagar, right near the Anaj Mandi. Being in the C Block area means there is always truck traffic and noise from the grain market nearby. We spend a lot of time looking at roofs and talking about how the sun hits different houses. It is a bit of a messy business sometimes, carrying heavy panels up narrow stairs and dealing with all the wiring. The shop itself is mostly filled with boxes of parts and some tools we use every day. We aren't a big corporation; it is just a few of us trying to figure out the best way to set things up so the batteries actually hold a charge. Some days we are out in the heat all afternoon, and other days we are just sitting here in the office doing paperwork and answering the phone. People stop by to ask if solar is actually worth the money, and we just tell them what we know from the jobs we have already finished. It is practical work. We don't use big words or try to act like we know everything. We just show up at the site, get the brackets bolted down, and hope the weather stays clear so we can finish on time. It is a decent living and keeps us busy in this part of town.
