We operate out of the basement of the Nidhi Complex, which is located on Kursk Road in Lucknow. We are quite close to the Mama Chauraha in Sector 2. Being in the basement, our space is a bit different from your typical office. It stays somewhat cooler than the upper floors during the summer, but we have to keep the artificial lights on all day long. The space is filled with long rows of tables and chairs to accommodate the students who come for the IAS preparation. It is a very focused and quiet environment, mostly because everyone is busy with their books. We do not have any elaborate decorations or a stylish entrance. You just walk down the stairs and you are in the middle of our study area. There are shelves everywhere piled high with books, magazines, and old exam papers. The walls are quite bare, maybe just a calendar or a map of India here and there. We have been in this basement for a while, and it has become our second home. It is a bit of a tight fit when we have a full house, but everyone manages. We do not have a corporate staff; we just do everything ourselves, from answering the phone to cleaning the desks. It is a humble, practical spot for anyone who is serious about their studies. We just keep the doors open and the lights on for those who need it.
