Hina Herbal Beauty Parlour

Hina Herbal Beauty Parlour is tucked away in the Golaganj area of Lucknow. We are not on a big main road, so it is a bit quieter around here compared to the city center. The shop focuses on using herbal products because that is what I learned from my mother. We mix some of our own pastes and oils using things you might find in a kitchen or a local garden. Golaganj has an old feel to it, and our shop fits right in. It’s not very modern or anything, just a simple space with a couple of chairs and some basic equipment. I spend most of my day here, opening up early and closing once the sun goes down. Most of the ladies who come here live just a few streets away. They come in for a quick haircut or to get their skin cleaned up with some of our herbal mixes. Lucknow winters are nice, but in the summer, we all just try to stay cool inside. I don’t spend money on big ads because word of mouth works best in a place like this. If you do a decent job, people tell their sisters and their friends. I like the routine of it all, seeing the same faces every month and catching up on the local gossip while I work on their hair. It is a peaceful way to make a living.
