Habib Mens Parlour

Habib Mens Parlour sits at number 4 in Mangalam Plaza. It is right in the middle of LDA Colony in Lucknow. This part of the city, especially around Sector B 112, is always full of people moving around. We are quite close to the Power House Square, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. Inside the shop, things are more quiet. We have the usual setup for a men's parlour. There are chairs that have seen a lot of use but are still comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit-down. The mirrors are large and we try to keep them clear of smudges. Lucknow gets very dusty, so cleaning is a constant task here in the plaza. People coming in usually live nearby or work in the shops around us. It is not a huge space, but it fits what we need. We do haircuts and shaves throughout the day. Some mornings are slow when the sun is just coming up, but it picks up by noon. Being near the power house means we rarely have trouble finding the place. We just open up, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer to walk through the door. It is a steady way to spend the day in 226012. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just the tools we use and a place for people to sit while they are waiting. It has been our home for years and we like it here enough.
