You can find us on the second floor of Deva Palace in Viram Khand. It’s right on Patrakarpuram Road in Gomti Nagar. A good way to find the building is to look for the United Bank; we are right above it. Gomti Nagar is a busy part of Lucknow with a lot of offices and homes. Being on the second floor means it’s a bit quieter than the shops right on the street level. We get a lot of people who work nearby or live in the Viram Khand area. The parlour isn't very big, but we’ve made the best of the space we have. I’ve been running Gungun Beauty Care for a bit and it’s mostly just me doing the work. I do everything from basic skin care to hair styling. It’s a lot of climbing stairs for the customers, but most don’t mind. The view from the window shows the busy road below. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. I don’t use any of that fancy marketing talk. It’s just a place to come and get your beauty work done without any fuss. Most of my clients are regulars who have been coming since I opened. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep the shop running smoothly. It’s a simple life and a simple business in a busy city.
