Gt Computer Hardware Networking Institute is tucked away in the basement of the Chandrakanta Building. We are on Station Road in Hussainganj, right above the Honda showroom. It’s an interesting spot because you have the showroom noise upstairs and the quiet of the basement down here. We focus on teaching people about hardware and how to set up networks. It’s hands-on work, so there are always wires and routers lying around the place. We have some benches where students can sit and practice crimping cables or taking apart a CPU. It’s not the biggest place, but we make use of every corner. The lighting isn't great, typical for a basement, but it works for what we do. We’ve been training folks from all over Lucknow who want to get into the IT field. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze with all the equipment we have stored. We try to keep things simple and explain how stuff actually works in the real world. Being near the station makes it easy for people to reach us. We spend our days troubleshooting problems and showing students how to do the same. It’s a practical environment. No fancy decorations, just tools, computers, and people trying to learn something useful for their careers. We've been at this for a long time now and we see a lot of faces coming through. It's a good way to spend the day.
