Grin Saloon

Grin Saloon is located at 202 in Ganpati Plaza. This is over in Vikalp Khand-1, Gomti Nagar. Since we are in Lucknow, we get all kinds of people coming through. Being on the second floor means you have to walk up or take the lift, so we don't get as many random people just wandering in off the street. It is mostly folks who know we are here. The plaza is a bit of a maze if you are new to it, but once you find 202, it is easy. The shop has a good view of the street below. We watch the cars and bikes going through Gomti Nagar all day. It is a decent-sized space. We have the black chairs that lean back and a sink for washing hair that sometimes drips a little if you don't turn it off just right. We have a little television in the corner, but usually, it is on a news channel or a cricket match with the sound turned down low. The walls are a plain color, nothing too bright. We try to keep things organized, but on a busy Tuesday, there are combs and bottles everywhere. It is a working shop, not a museum. People come here to get a clean look and talk about the weather or the local politics. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood. We stay here until late most nights.
