If you’re walking through Azad Market near the SL Gate, you’ll probably see the Golden Tea Center. We are right there at Shop No.s-6/75-76. The Golden Ayurvedic Unani Clinic has been part of this market for a good while. It's a busy area, always noisy with people shopping and tea being made nearby. We focus on traditional Ayurvedic and Unani methods. Our shop is filled with the smell of different herbs and oils, which is quite different from the rest of the market smells. It’s a small space, but we’ve packed it with everything we need to help folks who prefer the old ways of healing. We see people from all walks of life coming in, some looking for something specific and others just wanting to ask questions about how these traditional medicines work. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes it’s quiet and we spend time organizing the bottles and packets on the shelves. Other times, it’s a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping people feel better using stuff that's been around for ages. Being near the tea center means there’s always life around the shop. We’re just local people doing our bit in Azad Market and helping folks find natural options for their health.
