Glow & Glossy

Glow & Glossy is our small shop on Rajajipuram Road in Lucknow. We are situated quite close to the E Block Chauraha, which is a busy intersection that everyone in this part of town knows. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside to take care of our customers. We mostly handle hair and basic beauty stuff for people living around Rajaji Puram. It’s a nice area with a lot of families. In the mornings, we open up the shutters, sweep the entrance, and get the water heating up. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a front desk person. It’s just us doing the work directly. We use standard products that we’ve trusted for years. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play outside and it gets a bit loud, but it makes the place feel alive. We see a lot of the same people every month. It’s more of a community feel than a business sometimes. We listen to people’s stories while we work on their hair. We aren't trying to win any awards; we just want to make sure the person in the chair is satisfied before they head back out to the Chauraha. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but for now, it works just fine. It’s an honest way to spend the day in Lucknow and we enjoy meeting everyone.
