Glorious Women Beauty Salon

I've been running Glorious Women Beauty Salon here in Indira Nagar for quite a while now. We are tucked away in Ravindra Palli, right on Faizabad Road near the Neel Giri Chauraha. Most people around here know the spot. It isn't a massive fancy place, just a regular space where women from the neighborhood come to get their hair done or maybe some threading. It gets busy on weekends, especially when there's a wedding nearby, but usually, it's just the local ladies dropping by. I started this because I liked doing makeup and hair, and it just grew from there. The shop is at number 11. Lucknow summers are harsh, so we try to keep the place cool for everyone who walks in. Sometimes the tea lady next door brings over chai, and we just sit and talk while working. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too flashy, just standard stuff like facials and haircuts. I try to keep things tidy, though with all the snipped hair, it's a constant job. If you live around Faizabad Road, you've probably seen our sign while stuck in traffic at the crossing. We open in the morning and stay until the evening, depending on if anyone is still waiting. It’s nice seeing familiar faces every month. Sometimes people bring their kids along, and it gets a bit noisy, but that's just how it is. It's my small way of being part of the community here in Lucknow. We don't have those big glass doors, just a comfortable spot.
