We are located on the ground floor of a building in Indira Nagar, specifically A-1397/11. It is a pretty good spot because we are quite close to Mena Market and the whole Bhootnath area which is always packed with people. The name is a bit long, but most people just know us as the salon near the market. It is a dedicated space for ladies. We spend our days doing a lot of hair cutting, bridal prep, and skin stuff. The ground floor location is handy because nobody has to climb stairs when they are carrying shopping bags. It is a bit of a lively atmosphere here because Bhootnath is such a major hub in Lucknow. We have a few different sections for the different types of work, like where we do the hair versus the private areas for waxing. It’s not a silent place; there is usually a lot of talking and the sound of hair dryers going. We see a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years and they just drop in without much notice. The shop has its own rhythm, usually getting really packed in the evenings when women are done with their chores or work. We just keep things moving and try to make sure everyone gets their turn. It’s a practical, hardworking salon for the women in this part of town. We keep plenty of pearls and pins on hand for the hairstyles.
