Down on Jagat Narayan Road, Gicit Engineers Pvt. Ltd is located at House Number 208/258Ka in Janta Nagari. It’s right near the Medical College in Lucknow. This is a very specific part of town. Shiksha Bhawan is another landmark close by. The area is always crowded because of the hospital and the college. There are always people walking around and plenty of tea stalls on every corner. Our office is more like a house that’s been converted. It has a very lived-in feel to it. It’s not a glass and steel building. We have our files stacked up and some old furniture. It’s comfortable for us though. The noise from the road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few days. We get a lot of students and people passing by because of the medical college nearby. It’s a busy atmosphere. Inside, we just focus on our engineering work. There’s no big lobby or receptionist. You just come in and we’re right there. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn’t bother us much. It feels more like a local workplace than a corporate office. It’s honest and straightforward, just like the neighborhood. We don't need anything fancy to get the job done.
