You’ll find us on the second floor of Indra Karan Plaza in the Lalbagh area. It’s a bit of a climb, but we’ve been here for a long time. Lalbagh is a hectic place, full of shops and offices, and our building is right in the thick of it. We don’t have any fancy decorations in our classrooms. It is just a place for students to sit down and focus on their books. We started this because we wanted to provide a local spot for kids to get some extra help. We don’t have a big staff, so if you call, you’ll probably speak directly to one of us. We do our own paperwork and keep the place tidy ourselves. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation. We are just a small local outfit. Sometimes the electricity in the plaza acts up, but we just carry on as best as we can. That's just how things are in this part of town. We get all sorts of students, and we treat everyone the same. We don’t have a polished sales pitch. If someone wants to join, they just come in and we show them where they’ll be sitting. It’s a very practical arrangement. We spend most of our time planning lessons and checking homework. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do for the community here in Lucknow.
