Gahna Beauty Palour

If you walk down Barha Road in the Anand Nagar Market, you will see Gahna Beauty Palour. We are located right in the Alambagh area of Lucknow. It is a very busy spot and there is always something happening on the street. Our shop is quite small but we have everything we need to get through the day. There is a specific way the sun hits the front window in the afternoon. We have some posters on the wall that have been there for years. The chairs are a bit worn out at the armrests from so many people sitting in them. We spend most of our time doing hair and basic skincare for the local women. It’s not a quiet place because the market noise comes right through the front door. We have a little radio that plays local songs while we work. The name on the sign is spelled Palour, which is just how it was made. We didn't bother changing it. People around Alambagh know where we are. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who have worked together for a long time. We drink a lot of chai during the slow hours in the middle of the day. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We just take one customer at a time and do the job.
