Freinds Salon

Up in Lucknow, on the busy Faizabad Road, you will find Lekhraj Market. That is where Freinds Salon is located. It is a lively place with lots of shoppers and people moving around Indira Nagar all day. The name is spelled a bit differently, but that is just how it is. Our shop is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There are mirrors lining the walls and the floor is usually covered in a bit of hair because we stay quite busy. Lucknow has a certain way of living, and we fit right into that rhythm. The market is always noisy, so there is never a dull moment. We have some regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened our doors in this spot. They sit in the chairs and we talk about whatever is happening in the city. We do not use any of those expensive products you see on TV, just the basic stuff that works. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing, and we keep the scissors and combs in jars on the counter. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place. You won't find any leather sofas or fancy coffee machines here, just a place to get a haircut and maybe a shave. It feels like home to us after all these years in Indira Nagar. We are just here doing our job and seeing the market change every day.
