Fragrantors Aroma Lab (P) Ltd.

Our lab is at 92/134, G. B. Marg. This is a narrow street and finding our front door can be a bit tricky if you are not looking closely. Fragrantors Aroma Lab is a small setup where we mix various scents. It is an interesting place to work because the smell of the air changes every few hours. One minute it is like a garden of roses and the next it is sharp lemon or deep woody musk. We have shelves filled with hundreds of tiny glass bottles and plastic droppers. It is very precise work, but the lab itself is often a bit cluttered. There are notebooks everywhere with scribbled notes about different oil combinations and formulas. We do not have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and you are right in the middle of the workspace. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the nearby market. We have an old ceiling fan that clicks rhythmically while we work. Most of the people here have been doing this for many years, so they can tell what a scent is just by walking into the room in the morning. We do not use fancy machines for everything; a lot of the mixing is still done by hand, measuring and pouring carefully. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the chaos of the city outside. By the time we head home, the scent follows us.
