Fitness Flair Beauty Salon

Fitness Flair Beauty Salon is found at A 016 on Ambedkar University Road in the South City area of Lucknow. We are positioned quite close to the Utharatheya Pull, so a lot of people pass by us on their way across the bridge. The road outside can get very dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we have to keep the front door closed most of the time to keep the shop clean. Inside, it is a modest space where we do various beauty treatments and hair work for the local ladies. There are a few specialized chairs and some basic equipment for facials and hair washing. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some posters up to make the place look a bit more lively. Since we are near the university, we often see students coming in during their breaks or after their classes are over. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though we do talk quite a bit with the customers while we work. We have a small cupboard where we keep all the threads, creams, and bottles of lotion organized. It gets a little cramped when there are more than three or four people inside at once, but we make it work. The light from the street lamps comes in through the glass in the evening, giving the shop a different feel. It is just a local business trying to serve the people living in South City.
