We have been working from this spot for some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the noise from the street. Being near a landmark like Jyoti Steel helps people find us when they are visiting for the first time. We don't have a big team or a lot of expensive equipment. It is just a few rooms where we keep our records and meet people. The office is often a bit messy with papers and books stacked up on the desks. That is just how we work. We prefer it this way because it feels more real. Lucknow is a big city with a lot going on, and we are just one small part of it. We try to keep our overhead low and focus on what we are doing instead of how the office looks. Most days, you’ll find us busy with phone calls or sorting through documents. We like being in Khargapur because it feels like a real community where neighbors look out for each other. It’s a practical place for a foundation to be while we work on our tasks.
