Feel Good Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is located at 3/31 in Patrkarpuram, which is right in the middle of Gomti Nagar. We are very close to the Sahu Agency, so people use that as a landmark to find us. Lucknow can get very hot, so we try to keep the shop as cool as we can with the old unit we have. It’s a small space, mostly filled with the chairs and a small table where we keep the magazines. Most of them are a few months old, but people still like to flip through them. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in for a quick threading or to get their hair trimmed before an event. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have lived in Gomti Nagar for years. We know which neighbors are moving and whose kids are getting married. The floor is a bit worn where we stand all day, but that’s just how it is. We keep our mirrors clean and our scissors sharp. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to raise our voices to be heard. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place for the local ladies to come and get things done without making a big fuss about it. We stay open until late evening when the market starts to quiet down and we finally sweep the last of the hair away.
