Fabulous Looks Beauty Parlour

You have to go down to the basement of Gajal Plaza to find us here in Mahanagar. Being in Basement 15 means it stays a bit cooler when the Lucknow sun is really hitting the pavement outside in New Gol Market. We called it Fabulous Looks Beauty Parlour a long time ago and the name just stuck even if we are just a simple local shop. It is mostly women from the nearby flats who drop in because they don't want to travel too far for a simple wax or to get their hair colored. The stairs can be a bit annoying for some people but once you are inside it is quiet enough. We have a few mirrors and the usual chairs you find in any parlour. We don't really have a big staff so sometimes it is just one or two of us handling everything from the phone calls to the cleaning. It gets a bit hectic on weekends when everyone decides they need something done at the same exact time. We just try to get through the appointments one by one. There is no fancy waiting lounge or anything like that just a couple of stools and some old magazines for people to look at while they wait. It is a practical place for people who just want their grooming done without too much fuss. We have seen many shops in the plaza change owners over the years but we are still here.
