Dudiya Beauty Parlour

Being located right at the Daliganj Crossing on Sitapur Road means there is never a quiet moment. Dudiya Beauty Parlour is a small space in Triveni Nagar where we spend most of our daylight hours. The dust from the road is something we fight every single morning. We usually start the day by cleaning the mirrors and setting out the hairpins and combs. It is a local Lucknow spot through and through. Most of the women who come in live just a few streets away, so we hear all the local news while we work. It’s not about being a high-end studio; it’s more about being the place where you go because you’ve known us for years. We handle basic stuff like wax and facials. The chairs aren't brand new but they are comfortable enough. Sometimes when the monsoon rains hit, the street outside gets a bit messy, and we just watch the cars go by from the door. It’s a small team here, mostly just helping each other out. We don’t have a big receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is free picks it up. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. Working near the crossing means we see a lot of people, but our regulars are the ones who keep the place going. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood.
