Dadiji Grin Udyog

Dadiji Grin Udyog is based out of Aminabad, right near the Tilak Nagar area. We are quite close to the main road, so the sound of traffic is always in the background while we work. The name comes from my grandmother, and we try to keep things running the way she might have liked. It’s mostly about grinding grains and making sure people in the neighborhood have what they need for their daily meals. The shop is small and usually covered in a thin layer of white flour dust. We have a few old machines that make a lot of noise, but they get the job done. Being near the main road means we get a lot of people just dropping in while they are passing through Tilak Nagar. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see the door open and come in. It gets very busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. I spend a lot of time cleaning the stones and making sure the grain is clean before it goes into the hopper. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out. We talk about the weather or the news while the machines are running. It's a simple business, nothing fancy. We just stay here in Aminabad and keep the mill going. The main road can be a headache with the parking, but we manage. We’ve been here for a long time now.
