D K Mens Parlour

Our shop is number 12 in the block on Kanpur Road, specifically in the Azad Nagar part of Lucknow. We are very close to VIP Road, so there is always a lot of movement outside. It’s a men’s parlor, so things are pretty straightforward here. We have the usual barber chairs and big mirrors that we try to keep clean despite all the hair flying around. Usually, the TV is on with some news or a cricket match if one is playing. The guys from the neighborhood come in, sit on the bench, and wait their turn while scrolling through their phones. We use standard razors and scissors, nothing too fancy. The floor is tiled but it’s seen a lot of boots and shoes over the years. Sometimes the tea stall guy from next door brings us a few cups when we have a break. Azad Nagar is a busy place, and being on the main Kanpur Road means we get a lot of walk-ins. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know the blue sign outside. We do haircuts, shaves, and maybe a head massage if someone looks stressed. It’s a loud, lively place most of the time. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s just a regular barber shop for regular guys living around this side of Lucknow.
