Cris Beauty Parlour

Cris Beauty Parlour is located on Sitapur Road, right by the Daliganj Crossing in Lucknow. It is a small place in Triveni Nagar where we handle the daily rush of women looking for a quick fix for their hair or skin. The traffic outside is always humming, and you can hear the horns all day long. We started this place because we wanted something of our own in the neighborhood. Every morning involves setting up the wax heater and making sure the thread spools are ready. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local parlor where we do the work ourselves. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the curtains are a bit old, but the equipment is clean and we know what we’re doing. Most of our customers are housewives from the nearby colonies who stop by after finishing their morning chores. We talk about everything from the price of vegetables to the latest TV shows while we work. It’s a very informal atmosphere. If someone wants a chai, we usually send the boy from the corner shop to bring some for everyone. We don’t have fancy brochures; people just ask for what they need and we do it. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us connected to the people around here in Triveni Nagar.
