Our office is located at No. 166 in CP Nagar. It’s a small room with a few desks and a lot of papers scattered around. We have some old maps pinned to the walls that are starting to curl at the edges. Most days involve a lot of time spent on the phone, listening to the dial tone or waiting for someone to pick up. People walk in from CP Nagar asking about bus schedules or how much it costs to get to the city. We have a computer that takes a long time to start up in the morning, so I usually have my first cup of tea while I wait for the screen to turn on. The chairs for visitors are a bit creaky, and the rug near the door is always getting bunched up. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine, but it’s where we handle all the bookings and travel details. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to give someone their ticket, which can be frustrating. We try to keep things organized with folders and clips, but the stacks of paper always seem to grow faster than we can file them. There’s a tea stall just down the road, and the smell of fried snacks often drifts in through the open window during the late afternoon. It’s just a normal office routine for us here in CP Nagar, and we stay until the last phone call is answered.
