Contego Humanitas Foundation

Contego Humanitas Foundation is located at E-4/270 in Sect-O of the Mansarover Yojna, right off Kampur Road in Lucknow. This part of town is pretty busy, especially during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get onto the main road. The office is in a residential-style building, so it feels more like a home than a corporate space. We have a couple of rooms set up with desks and some old metal cupboards for storage. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us much. Lucknow-226008 is our pincode if you're sending anything by post. Sometimes the cows wander onto the street outside and slow things down, which is just how it goes around here. We have a small area where we keep a kettle for making tea during the day. It’s a simple spot where we can focus on what needs to get done without too many distractions from the outside world. The neighborhood is mostly quiet in the afternoons, except for the occasional street vendor shouting out what they’re selling. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room; if someone drops by, they just pull up a plastic chair and sit with us. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll see in Uttar Pradesh, but it serves our purpose well enough. We like being in this part of Lucknow because it’s easy for everyone to reach from the Kampur Road side.
