Computer House

Our shop is on the first floor of the Faridi Building, right above the Dena Bank and across from the Lalbagh Post Office. It’s a busy corner of town, and we’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise from the street anymore. Inside, it’s mostly shelves full of spare parts, old keyboards, and computers that are being worked on. We have a couple of workbenches where we take things apart and try to put them back together so they actually work again. It’s not the cleanest place because there’s always a bit of solder or a stray screw lying around on the floor. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a few stools for people to sit on while we check their machines. Most of the guys here have been fixing electronics for years, so we’ve seen just about every problem you can imagine. We spend our days troubleshooting software and swapping out hard drives. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so be careful if you’re carrying a heavy desktop computer. We like being in Lalbagh because it’s central and easy for people to find us. It’s just a normal computer repair and sales spot. We don't do much advertising, we just rely on people knowing we’re here in the Faridi Building. It’s a tight-knit crew and we just focus on the hardware in front of us.
